Hiya friends, back for another Paper Rose post today and even though it’s been awhile since I’ve been able to, I made a fun fold card for this one! The style is called a ‘Pop up Front Step Panel Card’ and I’ve had it sitting in a folder meaning to make for ages, but haven’t been able until now, so let’s get started!

It looks a little tricky to start with if you don’t make fun folds often, but it’s actually a nice and easy one compared to some of the others I’ve made over the years 😀 To make it even easier, I’ve found an online video tutorial with measurements of the card here from Natasha Foote.
For my patterned paper panels I used two sheets from the 6×6 Botanical Blooms paper collection that look similar; one for the background and one for the smaller panel on top. I cut them down by approx. 0.5cm smaller on each length to allow a bit of the card base colour to show through. I added a piece of Smooth White Cardstock on the back for my message and I offset the new Thanks Border die cut from Smooth White cardstock on top of the turquoise base colour.

I’d love to see if you make one of the cards, let me know here or on my Instagram page! – Kelly.
